FOR EXAMPLE: Back in the day (LIKE BARELY A YEAR AGO) you could hook up a 2oz. Reeces pieces for 50 cents. Nowadays I get a 1.53 oz package for 70 cents.
Well partially it’s inflation. It takes more money to produce, and ship the product. Making smaller sizes save money and increases the bottom line. Also various health groups are encouraging the smaller sizes to combat the growing American waist line. (Many schools and such are requesting smaller portions.)
Back in my day, you could get a 16 oz bottle of Pepsi (or whatever your favorite was) for 10 cents and a real candy bar for another dime. A gallon of gas was 26.9
